We are thrilled that this vibrant family business has chosen to support the work of County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust Charity.
They have pledged to raise a massive £10,000 in 2024 to help and support the work of our NHS charity here in County Durham & Darlington.
A pandemic success story
Launched in 2022 by brothers Chris and Callum Tingle, The Axe House is nothing short of inspirational.
Amid the global pandemic, this enterprising duo transformed a back room in a County Durham industrial estate into a vibrant social space and the North East's premium axe throwing venue.
Nor did they stop there. In 2023 they invested into specialist mobile units, taking this fun activity out to weddings, community events and festivals including Camp Bestival Dorset & Shropshire, The Great Estate Cornwall, Rattlerfest and Little Orchard Cider Festival.

With such a can-do attitude, we have no doubts that The Axe House will smash their fundraising target in 2024.
They have already joined County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust Charity's Great North Run team and, together with twelve family and friends, will take on 2024's race.
What's more, a smaller group of six have also committed to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

Taking fundraising on the road
The Axe House team have other surprises up their sleeves, with fundraising activities planned when they take their mobile units to events across the UK.
With strong bookings for weddings and local community events, 2024 is already looking to be a hugely successful fundraising year for this entrepreneurial organisation.
